Our cottage is perfectly positioned to view the historic 1867 “Grey Ghost” gum tree, and soaking up views of our Homestead vineyard with a backdrop of mountain ranges. Originally part of Wairau hospital this cottage was pulled across Marlborough on a traction engine with the intention of becoming the start of Jackson estate; This is where Jackson Estate wines began!

Refurbished in a modern and contemporary style our cottage is right in the vines. Fully furnished, unplugged, self contained and with cooking facilities, all set up for a private get away. Every booking comes with a complimentary bottle of Jackson Estate wine to sip while you stay awhile.
