James Halliday's Wine Companion 2011 James Halliday's Wine Companion 2011 Twenty parcels of estate-grown grapes were separately fermented, and most were ultimately blended to provide this wine; bursting with juicy fruit hovering between tropical/stone fruit and citrus/mineral flavours. Quality Sauvignon Blanc at a fair price.

Hawke's Bay Today Yvonne Lorkin 4 Stars - So happy to see this one in the fridge in the Koru Lounge recently after a tedious afternoon's travel. The classic herbaceous, tropical aromas and the gum-tingling burst of cleansing citrus in the mouth delivered by this wine totally woke me up and shivered my timbers for the journey home. Available in switched-on wine stores or via www.jacksonestate.co.nz
Michael Cooper's Buyer's Guide to NZ Wines Michael Cooper The 2009 version is finely poised, immaculate wine, fresh and vibrant, with penetrating ripe gooseberry and lime flavours threaded with acidity and a crisp, dry, sustained finish. 5 stars
The Sunday Telegraph (UK) Susy Aitkins 17th Janauary 2010 A more serious wine, already reflecting the excellent vintage in Marlborough, with its
cool, elegant citrus and gooseberry fruit and a clean, mineral finish. |
