All our chardonnay grapes are sourced from the Jackson Estate Grey Ghost vineyard, where we have five hectares of Mendoza and B95 chardonnay vines planted. We handpick the fruit to reduce skin contact with the juice, and then the grapes are whole bunch pressed. This lowers the phenolics, increasing complexity and age ability, while allowing the uniqueness of the site to shine through.
